At Flora Vista, our PTA brings families, teachers, and programs together. We proudly support our school community through funding essential classroom resources, hosting fun family events, and organizing volunteer opportunities all year long.
Flora Vista has united its fundraising and volunteer efforts by merging the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and EEF (Encinitas Educational Foundation) into one comprehensive organization, creating a more efficient and cohesive approach to supporting our school.
At Flora Vista, we believe it takes a village to empower our students and teachers, and the PTA is at the heart of that effort! We actively provide essential classroom and enrichment supplies, along with vital academic support, ensuring our kids and educators have everything they need to thrive.
But we're more than just supplies! We're also the force behind beloved community events like the Jog-a-thon, Fall Festival/Campout, the inspiring Flora Vista Reads Program, Math 24, and Science and Book Fairs.
EEF at Flora Vista, a local chapter of the Encinitas Educational Foundation, plays a crucial role in enhancing our school. It exists to bridge the gap between available public school funding and the comprehensive needs of our Flora Vista Falcons.
We proudly fund dedicated Enrichment Teachers who bring our school's focus on Science, Arts, Music, and Math to life. Additionally, EEF supports vital site teachers who provide essential in-school support in Reading and Math, strengthening core academic skills for all.
